THANKS FOR JOINING

Thank you as ever for following the Subway League Cup final on our Matchday Centre, although it wasn't our day - we can hold our heads up high after a strong performance against a strong team.

We'll catch you next time 💙

CUSHING REACTION 🗣️

"I want this team to be a threat and to believe that it can be a threat whoever the game goes. I hope you could see that. I thought we had multiple moments in their box, put them under pressure many times, six corners to zero at half-time. We had real belief we could get back into the game, had huge chances. It’s tough, these finals are always swing on moments, this one fell to Chelsea but I’ve seen enough to know we can be competitive in the next three games. I believe this team can win, I wouldn't be here if I didn’t. You have to move on."

WASN'T TO BE 💙

It just wasn't to be City's day today, but all those connected to our Women's Team can be proud of our performance in the showpiece and can come away from Pride Park with our heads held high.
