Gareth Taylor on O'Carroll's debut 🗣

First off, a good performance. She’s been working with her as an attacking midfielder, but we tried to relieve Yui.

She could cope and we don't often look to relive her, but Eve and her understanding was good. It tells you everything, she’s got a good opportunity to learn and grow.

We’ve been with her a lot and today will give her confidence.

We have great young players coming onto the pitch, which shows how low we are and the injuries we have which have given young players opportunities.

Gareth Taylor on Roord's late change 🗣

She said she was okay and could continue, but we didn't want to risk it and make it worse.

Substitutions were made and we want to manage the load.

We play Sunday again, it’s a big ask for the girls and we don't want to take risks at all.

Gareth Taylor on Casparij's attacking display 🗣

We just look at players and what they have. Everyone’s different. Lily has incredible pace and can use it.

Kerstin’s a great crosser, I think her only other assist was against Brighton on the left. She has quality and pace, first 15, 20 minutes she really created problems.

Her combination play with Mary was good and allowed us to build a platform.

Gareth Taylor reaction 🗣

I thought we were really good. When you're back off the international break you’re not sure what you’ll get. In training sessions we've been working on concepts and variations, but the sessions were good, it's about transferring them into the game.

It was an amazing start, scoring always helps. Good opportunities to get crosses in with Kerstin and Leila, and Bunny does what she does.

We're pleased with the way they’re handling this period. We've had low numbers in terms of availability, so credit to the way they handled it at Hammarby and today.

Kerstin Casparij reaction 🗣

(On our 100% record on home soil) "We're very pleased. It feels like our fortress, nine wins out of nine's not bad."

(On her assist for Bunny Shaw) "Bunny and I have been practicing in training since the international break, so we're really pleased. It's such a boost, we train every day and have real thought behind what we do so to see it play out the way it did is amazing.

(On City's attacking options) "It's great for me, I like to get forward and when you have players like Bunny, Mary, Aoba, Jill, Jess, they're not the worst players! They're incredible and you just know when you give them the ball they'll keep it and it allows me to get forward as well."

Match Report 📖

City maintain our 100% home record this season with a convincing win over Leicester.

FT

Full-time

A convincing win for City, our ninth at home this season!

A Bunny brace plus second half strikes from Park and Fowler are enough for the win.

Eve O'Carroll's debut and the return of Laia Aleixandri are extra bonuses on a memorable afternoon at the Joie Stadium.

Stay tuned for plenty of post-match reaction...
