THAT'S ALL FOLKS πŸ‘‹

Thank you, once again, for following our Matchday Centre this evening as City moved six points clear at the top of the Barclays WSL table.

There are only two games remaining this season and it's certainly going to be exciting before the shutters fall on the term.

Next up for Gareth Taylor's team is a seismic meeting with Arsenal at the Joie Stadium on Sunday 5 May at 14:15 (UK).

Our Matchday Centre will get under way for that one at 12:45 (UK). We'll see you there πŸ‘Š

TAYLOR TO SKY SPORTS πŸ—£

Our second half performance I thought was very, very good. I thought we were really quite poor in the first half - we were lethargic and a bit flat. A bit slow in spotting where the spaces were and moving the ball as well.

We adjusted some things at half-time, brought Kerstin onto the pitch which gave us energy, pace and quality. Laia then becomes more comfortable in the position at centre-back.

Just a few minor tweaks at half-time, we spoke about body language, intensity of our play. We have to give great credit to Bristol City, they were very good.

They slightly adjusted in terms of how they play and to what we thought they were going to do and worked tremendously hard. Then in the second half made it difficult by playing quite low and blocking.

We had to really find some quality to really unlock the door, but Mary's goal is a great goal from the middle. She did so well for the second goal after a great pick out from Lauren.

At half-time I'd have been happy with 1-0, I really would have so to come away 4-0 we're really pleased. I thought we were much better in the second half.

FOWLER'S FIRST πŸš€

Let's have another look at Fowler's first shall we?

MARY FOWLER TO SKY SPORTS πŸ—£

I've been having some shocking shots in training so that one [the first] I was just hoping to get it on target!

We have attacking players who are capable of scoring goals so today our front three moved around quite a bit and trying to do something different.

It's particularly difficult to score goals against a team who sits quite a bit so we just had to try find solutions throughout the game. It meant we switched a lot during it.

It's really good to be out there now and to be able to help the team by getting some goals and stay in the title race.

I would have to say the first one [was my favourite]. I do like scoring a long distance shot. The second I think no one thought I'd scored it so they all ran to Hempo. I'm just glad I could get some goals
