Until next time 👋

Thank you, as ever, for joining us at the King Power Stadium as City extended our unbeaten run to 16 games in all competitions.

Next up for Taylor's side is a midweek trip to Arsenal in the Continental Cup semi-final.

Keep across and the official Man City app for all of the reaction from the East Midlands 🎙

Taylor speaking to Sky 🗣

“Yeah I mean I really enjoyed the first 20 minutes. The football we played, we created a lot chances and could have been out of sight by then.

T,"he message at half-time was that we needed to be a bit more patient in the final third. The last thing they probably wanted was me having a go about the chances we created and the chances we missed.

"I felt we could create a bit better chances and I felt we probably weren’t going to score form a cross in the air – and that’s exactly where we scored from, so what do I know? It was a great ball in and a great header from Bunny – to beat a goalkeeper who was inspired today.”

Chloe Kelly speaking to Sky 🗣

“Yeah it was a great performance from the Leicester keeper, and it was hard to break down, we just had to stick with it and we knew the goal would come.

“I think it’s all about confidence. I’m playing free now and I’m enjoying my football. It’s great to play with Filippa she makes things easy for me and Bunny, she gets her head on the crosses as well.

“So, yeah I’m really enjoying my football and as soon as it ran on the outside I I thought ‘this is the space I want to run in’ and trust my left foot and hit to low as the ‘keeper was saving everything high.”

Smiles all round 😊
