“[We’re] really proud. We deserved more than that tonight. We put a lot into the game, I thought we dominated pretty much most of the game and just needed to find that little bit of quality in the final third.
“When you go into extra-time like that, it’s really difficult playing Arsenal on their own patch.
“I felt at that moment we were in the ascendency. So, disappointed but proud of the girls.
“I don’t think either coach wanted extra-time tonight, but it is what it is. When you see desire and effort like that in the women’s game I think it’s really something to be admired.
“I thought it was two really good teams going at it. A good match, really proud of the way we played and just didn’t quite get the rub of the green on the night.”

It's over. City's defence of the Conti Cup ends at the semi-final stage.
Two minutes of added time. Keep going City!

It's a brilliant ball in from Ouahabi which evades everyone and is met by the Australian at the far post.
She's under pressure as she meets the ball, and sends it just wide of the post.
Good news - Hemp's back up and on the pitch.
Into the final couple of minutes as City press for the equaliser.
