That's all, folks 👋

Despite our best efforts, it just wasn't to be today as City's FA Cup journey ends at the quarter-final stage.

But with a huge WSL game against Chelsea on the horizon, there's plenty to still be excited for and work towards this season.

Thanks as always for your company, and see you again next week at the Academy Stadium.

COME ON, CITY 💙

Gareth Taylor reaction 🗣

"Disappointing, that's two cup competitions we've gone out of in extra time, which is frustrating because it shows we were there and wanted to be in the semi-final.

"We started well, it rocked us a bit when they scored and we had a sticky spell for 10 minutes, but when we scored a quality goal, we were the team on the front foot.

"We dominated second half. I felt we could've been a bit more patient rather than rush things but it's difficult when chasing the game in those circumstances.

"We needed to make more of our chances at the top end of the pitch."

Just wide!

Raso picks up a loose ball and races towards goal, cutting in from the right.

She tries her luck with her left foot, but it's wide of the mark.

Great defending

A brilliant challenge from Morgan nicks the ball off Daly's toe as she shapes to shoot.

One last chance for City?
