Man City v Ipswich - 17 Oct 2026 | Manchester City F.C. Manchester City FC - Official Website of Man City F.C.

Right, that's me signing off for the night after another win - and a hugely eventful game.

Seven wins out of seven in the league, a new Premier League record for Enzo and top of the table by six points as we stand.

All in all, I'd say that has been a pretty good Saturday!

Thanks as always for your company today - always hugely appreciated.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and let's do it all again on Tuesday evening when we play host to AEK Athens in the Champions League.

See you all then!

No, I asked all of them, Mateo said he was OK, Matheus said he was OK, Erling said he was okay. Nico was his back. If you remember v Coventry it’s the same problem. The only worry was Antoine and we will see.

Absolutely, yes. The environment was good, today was a record for the attendance.

The fans, club, players, we are all together on this journey and this is the best feeling for everyone.

I will ask now [if my children can get bananas]!

For sure I didn’t expect to win seven out of seven.

The main reason is I'm not thinking about the next five, I think about the next one.

I think we are working well and this is the main thing, the most important thing.

With Phil I said many times, he’s one of the best Premier League players and from day one it’s my duty to help him be one of the best players.

I'm very happy for his goal, hopefully it can be just the beginning of many goals and good performances.

Yeah, nice. I said it’s fantastic for him, he’s scoring goals, but also good for us because he’s also a leader in this moment and a character.

He’s doing well.

First of all very happy because it’s a matter of winning games in this business.

We were able to win seven in a row and what made me v happy was day by day with the players, the way they are working and how I can see them improving.

Today I thought we controlled the game, created chances and good off the ball.

We are doing well and I think that's the most important thing.

This guy as also very, very good today.

He has started his City career in fine fashion!

As well as guiding City to a seventh straight league win, Enzo Maresca has also proved something of a soothsayer.

At Friday's pre-match press conference, he predicted that Phil Foden would score today.

And the Academy graduate was as good as his word!

With that in mind, I wonder if Enzo could pass on tonight's winning lottery numbers?!!!

And a big hand to you sir!

Record breaking start to the Premier League season...
