Reijnders reaction 🗣️

"Feels good to finally score at home. I've waited a long time for it, today was the day. Happy to win the game as well."

On Erling Haaland's assist: "A good assist, he got the ball from [Rayan] Cherki and had to think fast to pass it to me then I could shoot it in."

On title race: "We had to keep confidence and you want to win every game but with the right confidence and mentality, you can do it. It shows how much quality we have and how much we have grown as a team. It's a good job from us and we have to keep going.

"We have to see. We will keep the pressure on them [Arsenal]. They are above us, not now but before, we have to keep the pressure on.

"We all have to do that. We have to show each game that we have the quality and play without fear. We did that very well today."

A lot more to come this weekend!

That isn't the end of the weekend from a City perspective.

In fact, we face West Ham again tomorrow. This time it'll be our women travelling down south for a League Cup quarter-final.

Best of all, the 13:00 (UK) kick-off is live on CITY+!

Erling's goalscoring record

Our No.9 now has 19 Premier League goals this season, eight more than the next best - Brentford's Igor Thiago - and more than double Antoine Semenyo in third with eight.

He has netted 25 times in 23 appearances across all competitions for City this season.

Haaland is also now out on his own as our seventh best scorer ever, with 149 strikes in 169 games. He'll be eyeing Joe Hayes and Billy Meredith on 152 and Colin Bell on 153.

In his current form, you can't imagine that will take long.

Divine's day!

One to remember for Premier League debutant, Divine Mukasa.

A boyhood dream achieved, no doubt.

That's it!

A thoroughly professional performance from the Blues marks our seventh successive win in all competitions.

Haaland scored twice, taking him above Francis Lee when it comes to goals for City, while Tijjani Reijnders got the other.

It also means we're top of the table for a few hours at least, with Arsenal kicking off at Everton at 20:00 (UK).

90'+3'

Inches wide

Haaland sprints into the box and rolls his shot just wide of the far post.

So close to a 12th City hat-trick! He's livid with himself, as you'd expect from such a perfectionist in front of goal.

90'+1'

Haaland named Man of the Match

With two goals and an assist, who else could it be really?

A professional job to do!
