We'll see you on Wednesday...
Tough week. Thursday, Sunday coming to London like this is so demanding. Difficult for time to focus on recovery, especially against this team. This is by far one of the best teams in Europe. Our resilience was fantastic otherwise we cannot survive.
We gave away chances in transitions because it’s difficult becasue we cannot play the way we want to play. We are not able to make a good build up and our pressing is ineffective because they spread a lot the two structures.
Because they have the ability to put int he ball behind with fast fast players with Martinelli, Saka, Trossard, Madueke. And the others are so close and its not ebay to defend in that concent.
You have to drop and use the transitions like we had with Leroy and Raheem with those players we could it. It's a pity, but it's football. Last season we equalised in the last minute at the Etihad, this time they did it. But it's football.
We take a point and in general a really good week
Two wins and a draw in what looked like a really intense week off the back of the recent international break. While it's tough to take with the late equaliser, that's a strong return from those games.
Now, we look ahead to Wednesday's Carabao Cup trip to Huddersfield.
The Spaniard said this week that he doesn't believe he's back to full fitness but he keeps putting it all out there for us. Another superbly determined effort from the reigning Ballon d'Or winner.
City now have seven points from five matches, leaving us ninth in the Premier League.
Liverpool are top of the table having won all five games so far. Arsenal, Spurs and Bournemouth are currently their closest challengers with 10 points each.
We'll hear from Pep Guardiola and a member of our team before the evening's out.
Highlights and a full-match replay will follow too!
Possession: Arsenal 67% - 33% City
Passes: Arsenal 515 - 224 City
Shots: Arsenal 12 - 5 City
xG: Arsenal 0.96 - 0.89 City
Corners: Arsenal 11 - 1 City
Fouls: Arsenal 11 - 10 City
Off the back of a difficult week, with only two days after the Napoli game, that was an outstanding team performance. It's still a point, not a loss and hopefully this is still something we can build off.
Our panel will analyse what they've seen this afternoon at the top of the page!
Erling Haaland netted a brilliant goal just nine minutes in before we defended superbly until the 93rd minute when Gabriel Martinelli scored the equaliser.
