Stones' reaction 🗣️

It's just nice to be out there and contributing. Getting your rhythm back is so important. It's always difficult early on here with their pace and power. I've had that positivity to be ready when called upon.

I feel fit and ready but in training you can't get the fitness you do in a game. We had to find that quick but after that first goal we came back and it was upwards from there.

The quarter-final draw of the 2025/26 FA Cup will be held at approximately 19:00 (UK) on Monday 9 March.

Omar Marmoush on TNT Sports 🗣️

Amazing performance. We didn't start so well but we showed our mentality and passion on the pitch. We're very happy to go through.

As a No.9 the most important thing is the goals. The easy ones are so important. For the second, I saw Matheus breakthrough, I took a touch and hit it.

I don't know what the secret is [to my record against Newcastle] but I'm just happy to help the team again.

On the fans: The support they give us is incredible and we just want to make them happy always.

Cup double!

We've now knocked Newcastle United out of both domestic cup competitions and won four of the five meetings with them this season.

There's still a slim chance we see each other in the Champions League too, but what a tussle it's been between the two clubs so far.
