Big blocks from the visitors to stop any shots on target. First from Haaland and then Doku while Cherki can't control a loose ball.
Cherki does well to win the ball back and gets a shot away but Flekken is suddenly unbeatable and Leverkusen deal with the corner.
Cherki is caught on the edge of the box. His effort is heading for the top corner until Flekken punches clear.
City are pinning the away side back but there's just no way through. Cherki tries a shot but it's off-target. Meanwhile, former Southampton winger Nathan Tella comes on for Bayer.
Nathan Ake has a headed effort on target but it's looping and easy for Flekken to clutch. Cherki then tries to find a way through but his shot is blocked.
