That's all for today!

We're just about done on today's Matchday Centre after another successful day at the Etihad!

Four wins from four, Erling Haaland in supreme form, it's all looking good.

We'll have highlights and more reaction to come this evening!

Following that, we're back on Wednesday night with the visit of Inter to start our Champions League campaign.

See you then!

Pep's reaction 🗣

I don’t remember in eight, nine years a team that played like Brentford in the first 30 minutes. They deserve to be 0-2. Long balls, win duels, short passes break the lines. Extraordinary team, we have suffered since they were promoted, all the games against Thomas have been difficult. They were really good. Second half was our best and we created a lot of chances and we could score more.

Top of the table

You can't read much into the Premier League table at this stage, but City do sit top.

We're the only side with a 100% record now after Liverpool's defeat at home against Nottingham Forest and we'll be first no matter what happens over the rest of the weekend.

Good to have you back, Gundo!

17:24

Grealish reaction 🗣

On Erling Haaland scoring again: "The second showed what he is all about. He used his body well and a brilliant finish. It is a pleasure to play with him and hopefully he can continue."

On his own performance: "I've started three or four games in a row now for club and country, I'm starting to feel like I am getting that sharpness back."

Haaland's second

From back to front in the blink of an eye!

Loud and proud

Passion from the stands as always today! Including the first viewing of the Definitely City number!

Four-in-a-row

No, not the amount of Premier League titles we have won back to back.

Instead, that was the ninth time we have won our first four games in the top-flight.

That's a figure no one else can match, with Chelsea and Everton the closest behind us on six occasions each.

17:00

99 not out

Today's brace means Erling Haaland has 99 Manchester City goals in 103 appearances.

He came so, so close to finding a third successive hat-trick today, something no one has done since 1946.
