Goodnight đź‘‹

An emotional occasion at the Etihad Stadium comes to a close as the players leave the field.

There's plenty of reaction and tributes to Kevin De Bruyne on mancity.com and our official app, with highlights and a full-match replay (for CITY+ subscribers) still to come.

The season ends on Sunday, when we go to Fulham looking to secure Champions League football next season.

Until then...

KDB's final speech

"I think the best way to describe my life here, with my wife and kids, is that we fitted in perfectly. I think together we've built a big future for this club to perform and enjoy.

"I know this has been a tough year for us but City will be back next year fighting for all the titles.

"We love you and we'll see you soon."

"Manchester is home. Manchester is where these little kids were born. I didn't expect to be 10 years and we've won everything!

"I wanted to enjoy my football and hopefully everyone enjoyed it!

"It's been an honour to play with these guys and I've made friends for life. You know we will all be back here together!

"This team will have more success for sure."

Centre circle

Asked by Natalie Pike how he feels, all Kevin can say is: "Very emotional!"

Now he's trying to keep his cool while watching a video of City favourites and his family sending their messages.

Khaldoon Al Mubarak, Sergio Aguero, Fernandinho, Aymeric Laporte, Raheem Sterling, Leroy Sane, Steph Houghton, Pablo Zabaleta, Joe Hart, Riyad Mahrez and Vincent Kompany are amongst those delivering heartfelt tributes.

Pep Guardiola appears to be struggling to hold the tears back, never mind Kevin!

Guard of honour

Players, coaches and staff form a guard of honour for De Bruyne and his family as they exit the Etihad tunnel.

The crowd chant his name and there'll be a few feeling a little choked up I'm sure.

"Old school football guy"

As the Belgian himself said in the video currently playing, he's always been a player that lives on creativity and passion.

His highlights include assists of all types - crosses, passes, driving runs as well as goals on the biggest of stages.

10 years of greatness.
