Pep on City's players

They play good, they know exactly. They know the standards and they know what they have done in the past. it's not about winning or losing.

You have to enjoy it. It doesn't matter if you are a professional or an amateur.

You can be in the best theatre in London or a theatre in Sheffield and the ones in Sheffield will love it and come back smiling.

Pep's reaction 🗣️

We are really pleased, we are back to doing things that define this team for the last 10 years. Really pleased for the three points and to climb into qualification for the Champions League for next season, that will be so tough.

Much better. Maybe not our best but closer with the consistency we have in our game. Most of them didn't happen in the previous games that we won.

Six appeal...

Phil Foden on his impact in front of goal 🗣️

I’ve had a few goals recently and I want to keep going now and adding to that. It’s all seemed to change for me in front of goal. I think I’ve been a bit unlucky before these goals I’ve been scoring with a few chances.

If I can keep arriving in the box with these players we have got then they will keep finding me. I’m delighted to keep on scoring.

More from Phil Foden 🗣️

I learned everything from it [the run of tough results before Christmas].

It is good to see me back scoring goals with a smile on my face and enjoying football. I want to keep going and adding to that. You never know what can happen. The aim is to stay in the top four.

Phil Foden's reaction 🗣️

Probably the best this season, in terms of all-round play. Keeping possession at important times and we defended well. One of our best performances this year.

We are building momentum, keeping players fit is important. I put it down to people being in better shape and the team is bonding better.

When we score we are not rushing it. We are keeping possession and build-up play was important today.

Mac attack

The City players salute James McAtee after he sealed a fine afternoon's work at Portman Road.

Perfect Paris prep

So many positives from today, six goals, clean sheet, and still unbeaten in 2025.

It means the guys will get out to Paris later this week for that huge Champions League game full of confidence.

Tonderful

Phil Foden's brace of goals saw him bring up a century of career goals for City and England.

Following on from his brace against Brentford in midweek you do feel he is really coming into form.
