Thank you and good evening

As always, many thanks for your company this afternoon.

All in all, I'd say that was a hugely positive Saturday.

A crucial three points and a clean sheet to boot to boost our quest for a top five spot and a place in next season's Champions League.

We'll have short highlights on our app and website at 19.00pm with extended highlights and a full match replay to follow at midnight.

And we'll see you all again on Tuesday for the small matter of a huge Premier League clash with Aston Villa.

Until then enjoy the rest of your weekend!

More from Gundo 🗣️

Everyone has been doing really well since the international break in March.

We need to stay on top of our game for the rest of the season because we definitely need to qualify for the Champions League.

I feel like already now, especially since we came back after he international break, we’re playing on a different level and different standards.

You can feel it as a player on the pitch and in the training sessions, I think the manager feels it and the supporters feel it.

Ilkay Gundogan's reaction 🗣️

We knew this ground is always tough to come and tough to play at with the way they approach the game, playing quite a lot of long balls from the back and with their physical conditions.

We had to be careful, maybe at the beginning we didn't want to risk it too much. Maybe you could feel it a bit in the way we played especially in the first half.

We came out in the second half to perform and we have done that in a brilliant way.

We definitely deserved to get the three points.

Pep on Goodison Park 🗣️

My friend Ronald Koeman destroyed me first time I come here. I remember it perfectly. It has been an incredible adventure.

Always I love to come here or Fulham, these typical stadiums for the Premier League. These stadiums with small locker rooms.

The clubs grow and the new stadium will be magnificent for fans and for you who work. It has been an honour to come here for many, many years.

Today I watched the screen with goals from Gary Lineker and said wow, this is English football.

Pep on Nico O'Reilly 🗣️

He’s an attacking midfielder and when you play as a left back, you can arrive there. He always is there.

Look at Plymouth and Bournemouth. When you play full back you score, look at Josko before, now him.

We are so grateful because he’s not a left back. They have so many tall, strong players. When the take is good and you are tall you have a chance.

They hit the post and then Stefan make a save. They make a good 10 minutes in the second half but then we work hard to find the goal.

Pep's post match verdict 🗣️

I would say a big win. We had to be so smart.

With five or six games, winning here and Nottingham Forest, Liverpool, Arsenal could not win here. Massively important.

What these players have done for a decade I am so grateful and this season more than ever.

We have had a tough period especially with injuries but we are more or less stable. We are miles away from Liverpool but tonight we will sleep well.

We will see in a few hours Villa, Newcastle and then Chelsea. Now it’s in our hands.

A final on Tuesday then two more games home and away.

Up for it

With five games left in the league you just feel City have the bit between our teeth and are finding a way to win whatever the challenge as the race for Champions League football intensifies.

It's Villa next up on Tuesday and that should be another compelling and crucial clash.

But with momentum on our side plus home advantage you wouldn't bet against City!

Keith Curle's full time view 🗣️

We have had a few bumps along the way this season but you can see the unity is all coming together now at this vital stage at the end of the season.
