That's all for today

All in all, a good day's work for Pep Guardiola's side.

That's two Premier League victories in a row and some goals to really savour at the Etihad this afternoon.

We're back next weekend when we host Salford City in the FA Cup but before then, keep your eyes on mancity.com and our official app for more reaction and highlights from this one.

Happy New Year!

Premier League table

That victory leaves us on 34 points after 20 games.

We're in sixth with Newcastle (35), Chelsea (36) and Nottingham Forest (37) all within reach.

With the FA Cup taking centre stage next weekend, our next Premier League game is a trip to Brentford on Tuesday 14 January.

Kevin De Bruyne reaction 🗣️

It’s a little step. There were moments we played good and some moments a little bit less. But it was much better than against Leicester. In the end we lost a bit of energy but there was some improvement so it’s alright.

We understand a little bit more what we have done in the last ten years now. How hard it is. In this moment we’re a little below that. So we understand what it is. We’re working really hard. The team is coming back fitness wise and the schedule helped by having a few more days to prepare. That should help.

Pep's reaction 🗣️

“We won a game, still we are not at our best but winning will help us. We had good moments but I’ve been here eight years and we have seen the team playing and it is not at our standards. Still we have to find our tempo and the way we want to play. West Ham played good and had chances.

On Savinho: “He made a lucky goal and made a good action after. The third goal was brilliant with the assist. He is delivering really well."

Haaland's Etihad record

Only Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling have now scored more Premier League goals at the Etihad than Erling Haaland.

The Norwegian loves playing West Ham too, with nine goals in six league appearances against them including two hat-tricks!
