PEP GUARDIOLA REACTION

I don’t take for granted the difficulty when you play an incredibly organised team. I’m not surprised after what they did against Liverpool. I don’t take for granted what we did, good many things. Every step is getting better. Jack [Grealish] played really good, Vitor [Reis], all of them, Nico [O'Reilly]. They want to make transitions. I don’t know how many shots on target we had. The ball is difficult. Sometimes it does what it wants. We're really pleased for the performance. We’ll see the draw tomorrow.

Nico O'Reilly to ITV

“Going into half-time 1-0 down would’ve been tough, but it lifted the spirits and we were ready to go in the second half.

“[The FA Cup] is always important. It’s a big competition, all the teams in England play it and we want to win it.”

“[Plymouth] were a very good team, very physical and direct. Congratulations to them in getting this far.”

“We’ll do our best to win [the competition] and we’re into the quarter-finals now.”

STILL PUSHING

Almost a fourth as City cut open the visitors but Bernardo can't get his shot away.

MAN OF THE MATCH

Big cheers as Nico O'Reilly is announced in the stadium. Thank goodness Savinho didn't take him out with that challenge to celebrate the goal.

THE ONE AND ONLY

Haaland escapes the Plymouth defence but is denied by Hazard. He picks himself up and picks out De Bruyne to slide home the third.
