It was an honour for me to be next to Pep on the touchline. The objective was to be more resilient after the weekend against Norwich and the players needed to respond. We showed real resilience and valued the art of defending and we can take belief from pushing the best team in the world all of the way. 

He has special qualities few players have. Unique. Space in transitions is unbelievable. Pleased for him and the goal. Still he has things to read and it's not easy to adapt. Really pleased for him, he's a lovely guy and lovely guys always deserves good things.

The Round Four draw of the Carabao Cup will take place live on Sky Sports following the conclusion of Liverpool v West Ham United on Wednesday 25 September.

Sky Sports’ Carabao Cup presenter Mark Chapman will host the draw. Ball numbers for the draw will be finalised on the morning of Wednesday 25 September.

Round Four ties will take place week commencing 28 October.
