Goodbye...

OK folks, keep smiling! We remain top of the Premier League and currently are the Treble winners. let's not forget. As disappointing as days like this are, this team has plenty of credit and some days just don't go your way. We'll be back on Wednesday for our Champions League game away to RB Leipzig and then we take on Arsenal at the Emirates. A wounded City is a dangerous beast... until then, take care and thanks for joining us.

Reaction: Pep Guardiola

Congratulations to Wolves, they deserved it. We had chances and struggled to deal with transitions and they played very well.

We were there and settled well and the question is when the opponent is faster and quicker, we have to accept it.

Bernardo [Silva] is soon to come back and John [Stones] is soon to come back and we will see how many players we have for the Champions League.

At Newcastle [we] were miles better than today and now we go onto the next one.

We still have Pep's reaction to come - that should be interesting and then, from 19:00 (UK), brief match highlights - if you can bear it!

I'm not feeling that great at the moment - we have Leipzig next and then Arsenal so we need to think about those games now. We could have 50 games still to play so we still have plenty of time to prove we are the best side.

We stay top of the table for now - if Liverpool beat Spurs in the early evening kick-off, they will replace us at the summit. Other results today have seen Luton beat Everton at Goodison Park; United lost 0-1 to Crystal Palace and Arsenal beat Bournemouth 4-0...

Reaction: Pedro Neto, Wolves

It is the truth. Up front we have very good players. We know that we could have the opportunity on the counter. We are playing against the best team in the world but we had belief that this could be a turning point for us. We work hard and we take the three points.

We just want the next game to come so we can put it right...

Sometimes there are just too many creative talents missing - De Bruyne, Bernardo, Stones and Rodrigo - major players, and two are a big miss, let alone four. Pep not being on the touchline was a big loss, too.
