City will take a 3-1 advantage back to the Etihad for the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16 after an impressive victory at FC Copenhagen.

Kevin De Bruyne produced an expert finish to put us ahead on 10 minutes but Copenhagen levelled matters, completely against the run of play, on 34 minutes.

Magnus Mattsson, making his debut for the Lions, endeared himself to the raucous home support with a clinical strike which gave Ederson no chance.

Bernardo restored our advantage just before the break with a deft touch finish after the ball ricocheted to him from a De Bruyne and Mattsson tackle.

Phil Foden gave us a two-goal advantage heading back to home soil with a brilliant finish in second half injury time.

The only downside of the evening was the exit of Jack Grealish with an injury midway through the first period.

Phil Foden!

Haaland on the attack...

Oh my!

Two great stops from Grabara to deny Haaland there.

So close to being 3-1.
