That's all, folks 👋

Three wins from three, top of the league, 200 Premier League wins in record time for Pep Guardiola and plenty of late drama to boot... what more could you ask for?

It looked like City would have to settle for a frustrating point against Sheffield United but, like all great sides need to do, we found a way.

Thank you as always for your company - onto Fulham next week! Make sure to stay across the official Man City app and mancity.com for all the post-match stats and reaction.

Lillo on Guardiola input 🗣

"I haven’t spoken to him after the match. During the match I spoke to him at some moments but generally he was speaking to other members of the technical staff.

"He has been totally present today. If there was more space on the bench I wouldn’t have sat in his seat.

"Pep’s seat is Pep’s seat. He was there with us the whole time."

16:43

Lillo on Haaland 🗣

"Today would have been difficult for any striker how it played out in the first half.

"There is the penalty which was frustrating but that can happen to any striker, not just Erling.

"What it does show and not just because he scored, it really shows his mental fortitude to keep going.

"That’s really difficult to find and he showed it today. He is young but his mindset is so good.

"Okay he’s missed a penalty but he’s going to keep going and keep coming back to score more goals."

Juanma Lillo reaction 🗣

"Generally we played really well today. It was a lot closer to what we wanted than the scoreline suggested.

"In the first half it was hard to find that space in behind. The penalty could have changed everything if it went in but the team were always stable and looking to score.

"From the second half we found our rhythm and were able to win the ball back a lot quicker and find those spaces.

"We found Julian and Bernardo on their own with time. We could have scored more before the first goal went in. Playing against such a difficult opponent it was even better for our players."

A day to remember for one lucky fan!

Rodrigo on strong start 🗣

"I think it's a great start for us. Even though we didn't have a big pre-season, the team is great even though we have some injuries and need Pep back.

"It's a moment where we've been together because not everyone is with us but we have to keep going.

"Of course when you don't have your coach it's difficult. You have to give a little bit more of yourself in terms of focus and the team. You have to be focused on the next game. The staff are great even though Pep isn't here."

16:22

Rodrigo on Haaland 🗣

"He never lost faith. I spoke to him saying don't drop because sometimes being surrounded it can be frustrating.

"They man marked a lot and he missed a penalty but then he scored and was decisive, this is what the top players do."

16:20

Rodrigo on the victory 🗣

"Always, when you score a late goal it's better but it was a great effort from the team.

"It's such a difficult stadium and credit to them for their defending and spirit.

"We have to be fair, there was a mistake in their goal but how we overcome the situation is the most important thing."
