That's it for tonight...

Well, I hope your heart rate is just about returning to normal after a classic City victory. I know it's going to take me a while to calm down.

City are Premier League, FA Cup, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup holders. It takes a lot of skill but more importantly, it takes an incredible amount of fight to win those trophies.

A record fourth straight Premier League title is still a very realistic possibility with 18 league games remaining this campaign. Whether we can pull off an unprecedented fourth in a row or not, it's sure to be a thrilling end to the season.

We'll have plenty more reaction to today's huge victory on mancity.com and the official app this evening. We'll be hearing from Kevin De Bruyne and Pep Guardiola in particular.

Look out for extended highlights and a full-match replay (for CITY+ subscribers) on those channels too come midnight.

GET IN!

Pep embraces De Bruyne after the final whistle. The only player still in our squad who was here when the boss arrived in 2016 💙

19:58

Bernardo's on fire 👊

Bernardo Silva has scored in three consecutive Premier League away games for Man City for the first time since December 2021, while the Portuguese has now had a hand in eight goals in his last eight games on the road (4 goals, 4 assists).

Decisive!

De Bruyne's goal just five minutes into his Premier League return!

Love a comeback!

We are just the fourth side in Premier League history to have won at least three successive away games despite trailing in each one after Leeds in October 1999, Tottenham in December 2013 and Manchester United in December 2020 (a run of six).

That beautiful first 👌

KDB 🔥

Kevin De Bruyne has scored (1) or assisted (3) a goal in all three of his substitute appearances in all competitions this season. His goal was Manchester City’s 100th in the Premier League against Newcastle, the first side we’ve netted a century against in the competition.

Game changer

Kevin De Bruyne today became the first Manchester City player to both score and assist in a Premier League game as a substitute since Sergio Agüero vs Cardiff in January 2014.
