PHIL FODEN REACTION

Delighted with the performance. I think the first half was brilliant apart from the last 10, I think they found us out a little.

The second half was not what we expected because Rodri got a red card quite early.

It wasn't ideal but we showed a different side to us today to dig in and yeah I'm proud of the team.

PEP GUARDIOLA REACTION

An exceptional game in the first half. Exceptional game in the second for our resilience and our work because we played, I would say, 51/52 minutes ten against eleven so it was not easy but we were fantastic. I thought the way we played in the first half was amazing so against a difficult side for the physicality the pace they have up front so yeah, recover for the next one.

MAN OF THE MATCH

An outstanding performance and a wonderful first goal of the season from Phil Foden, who Forest struggled to handle all afternoon.

WALK OF FAME

Pep Guardiola is on the pitch shaking hands and hugging his players and now the City fans are going to applaud all the City fans while one lucky supporter gets Phil Foden's shirt.

90'+7'

FULL-TIME

Huge cheers as the final whistle goes. Another three points as goals from Phil Foden and Erling Haaland secure a 2-0 victory to extend our winning start to the season.

90'+7'

ALMOST THERE

Gvardiol does brilliantly to win a free-kick by waiting for Chis Wood's clumsy challenge.

90'+4'

AT THE DOUBLE

Ederson is determined to keep a clean sheet. It's a great save to deny Hudson-Odoi and a more comfortable one from Boly's long-range strike.
