That's all for tonight!
Great win for City and the title race is getting incredibly tight. We'll be back on Saturday when we travel to Bournemouth for the 17:30 (UK) kick-off. Until then, have a great night Blues!!!

"They’re such a difficult team. This season we lost six points [against Brentford]. They have the ability with Ivan Toney – he’s a master player, a really good player. Other than that they’re really good at free-kicks, throw-ins and so on.
"We had a lot of chances considering how difficult it is to play against them, and we’ve won our game in hand. The performance was really good, once again, and I’m happy for the result.
"I think we had less chances in the second half than in the first. We struggled a little bit in the second half."
"The players, for years, have done incredible things, and they’re still doing it."
On the win: Yeah it wasn’t easy today. Brentford defended really well. We tried to attack from the first minute until the last. We scored the goal on a counter attack. Brentford had a good opportunity but we got the ball and went on the counter, the defender slipped, Erling went through on goal and the efficiency was there, he scored a great goal.
On creating chances: We know how hard it is to play against Brentford. They defend really well, play a lot of long balls and are great at set-pieces. So we knew it wouldn’t be easy playing against the back five. We did pretty well today. I can’t remember any big chances they had. We did good defensively and offensively we stayed patient and waited till we scored.
On Haaland's winner: I was like please score, please score! The second chance as well with Phil to finish the game, unfortunately the goalkeeper made a great save. We stayed solid until the end and that was really important today.
Erling Haaland has now scored against 21 Premier League teams he's faced.

A big three points and City move up to second in the Premier League, Erling Haaland with the goal that made the difference.
CIty deal with two crosses into the box and then Flekken catches Rodri and goes into the book for a desperate challenge.
Brentford launch the ball forward. City are standing tall to any aerial bombardment so far. A long throw is headed out by Haaland for a corner and Flekken comes forward.
The gaps are starting to open but the game's not killed off yet. Foden pulls a ball back for Haaland but his shot is straight at Flekken. Moments later, the pair combine again but the striker's touch is too heavy.
