Thank you and good evening

Right, that's all from me for this afternoon folks.

A thoroughly satisfying day's work from City with positives aplenty and a place in the FA Cup fourth round draw to look forward to.

Don't forget we will have more reaction from the game on our web and official app shortly.

Meanwhile  highlights and a full-match replay will be available to watch from midday tomorrow.

And don't forget to join us again next Saturday tea time for the small matter of a huge Premier League clash away at Newcastle with kick-off getting underway at 5.30pm in the North East.

See you then and thanks, as always, for your company today. 💙

Huddersfield boss Darren Moore's verdict 🗣️

It was always going to be tough

We tried to nullify the areas we know City are excellent in and thought we did that early on.

But once the first two goals go in the game runs away from you.

Phil Foden was at times unplayable.

They are the best team in the world. They are a fantastic team and from our learning perspective today will stand us in good stead.

More from the boss on KDB 🗣️

Kevin will help us with his talent but I don't want to put all the pressure on his shoulders because it is not fair to him.

Of course he has a special ability and quality to do something that is difficult to find. We have guys in midfield who love to run. Kevin is exceptional. He is unique.

More from Phil Foden 🗣️

I'm enjoying my football at the moment, being in the pockets and in between the lines.

It’s where I want to be, I need to keep helping the team with goals and assists and be that decisive player. I’m trying to do that every game.

Phil Foden's verdict 🗣️

We’re all buzzing with result. It was a bit difficult to break them down. The first goal I scored was important, then we had more rhythm and we took our chances well.

Delighted with he result, not an easy side when they give everything to beat us but I thought the way we handled ourselves, didn’t get impatient, carried on playing our football – we’re delighted with the result.
