That match begins at 18:00 (UK) on 22 December. We'll have full coverage on mancity.com and the official app.

In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled for more reaction from tonight and then as we look ahead to that game on Friday. It has the potential to be another historic day!

Pep's reaction 🗣

The plan is to sleep, sleep and sleep! This is our plan. The pitch conditions was not really good, honestly. But we know how that business works. Now we have to rest.

They had one more day. We will have a day off, have dinner together and create an environment that the players know how important it is for the club,to be in this final you have to do incredible things like win the Champions League.

This may be the only time we play this in our lifetime. We are there. Tomorrow we start to watch Fluminense and see them and try to do a good performance.

We'll be back

We return to the incredible King Abdullah Sports City for the final on Friday.

Urawa Reds manager Maciej Skorza

It's the best team in the world in my opinion but our plan didn't work in the perfect way. We expected that possession would be huge in favour of Manchester City. We had our plan for counter attacks but this didn't happen.

Maybe this is the big difference in the physical aspect between the two teams and lack of experience of playing teams like City.

Rob Pollard's take on events 🗣

In a highly entertaining semi-final game at the King Abdullah Sports City, an own goal from Marius Hoibraten and fine strikes from Mateo Kovacic and Bernardo Silva secured City’s safe passage through to the final in our first ever appearance at the tournament.

The victory sets up a global showpiece final against Brazilian side Fluminense on Friday, with City on the brink of creating more history after last season’s Treble success and subsequent UEFA Super Cup victory.

Should City win on Friday, we would become the first English team in history to hold the Premier League, FA Cup, UEFA Champions League, Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup simultaneously.
