Well, that's a wrap on the latest unbelievable success under Pep Guardiola.

Before today, no men's side had ever won the English top-flight title more than three seasons in a row.

That's all changed with the Catalan's 17th major honour in his eight seasons at City.

He has the chance to add another to that this season of course, with next Saturday's FA Cup final at Wembley.

“It feels as amazing as the first one, we’ve worked so hard, it’s been a tough battle with Arsenal and Liverpool this year, and to be here again, doing something historic is amazing.

“For me, this is one of my most special titles, I had a tough year being out for six months, but to come back in the way that I did to help the team win and to be at a good level is a great achievement for me this season personally.

“The manager sets the standards, but this team enjoys playing with each other, it’s not a team with big egos, it’s a team who enjoy playing around with each other and having fun, like today, we ran like crazy because we want to perform well.”

“It’s fantastic, beautiful and I’m enjoying it.

“I think after we won at Spurs, we kind of knew we were going to do it. We come at home with the pressure and everything, I was confident.

“I think it’s like that every year isn’t it? We had done a little extra [after the Club World Cup] because that’s when it really matters. I’m happy.

“I think last season [was harder] because we were eight, this year we were five, four or three. Both are not bad.

“That’s not bad. Not much to say I think it’s better to just play football and don’t speak too much I let the other people do the speaking and I relax, enjoy. Stay focused and let these boots do the talking.

“[The Premier League has] been harder than expected.

“Every game, the way every game is not far away from a final. You come away somewhere and even at home you have to be 90 minutes. You can’t relax after 45 minutes.

“Every game is so intense and tough."

"I am the man at the front and I wear the armband but I don't put myself above anyone else. We are a team. There are four captains including myself, and we all pull our weight. I am just the man they've picked to wear the armband which I am very grateful for. To be able to lift the trophy in this scenario, the four in a row, it is a dream come true."

“It’s so hard to put into words today, we’ve put ourselves into the history books, no team has ever done it and you can see what it means to the fans, what it means to us, we’ve worked so hard for this moment right here, and it’s such as special feeling to share this with the fans.”
