Special night ahead 😊

Congratulations to Cole Palmer this evening as he makes his first start in the Champions League.

Between the sticks...

Go well tonight Stefan Ortega Moreno!

From our journalist Neil Leigh at the Etihad...

Tonight marks the start of a hectic period of home games for City ahead of the looming break for the World Cup finals.

Somewhat remarkably, between now and Saturday November 12, we face four consecutive matches at the Etihad across four competitions.

After tonight, we then welcome Fulham on Saturday in the Premier League.

That’s followed by a Carabao Cup third round encounter at home to Chelsea next Wednesday.

And that run of Etihad assignments is then rounded off on Saturday, November  12 with a Premier League clash against Brentford.

Here’s hoping we can kick off that key run of fixtures on home soil with another win!

A look inside the home dressing room as we continue our build up to kick-off.

Welcome Sevilla

Our match pennant is ready to hand over to the visitors just before kick-off here at the Etihad.

From the Matchday Live Studio 📺

Nedum Onuoha on Cole Palmer 👇

“He’s different. He has a bit of size to him height wise, he’s getting stronger.

“He’s very good at faking to shoot and manipulating defenders. He’s really hard to read. He’s very good at manipulating the ball.”

From the Matchday Live Studio 📺

Nedum Onuoha on Rico Lewis starting 👇

“I think he’ll be excited. You see some players come in and are quite timid, they don’t want the ball and don’t want touches. But against Copenhagen he was involved.

“It’s really good for him. I’m looking forward to seeing how he plays. I think he will want to express himself."

From the Matchday Live Studio 📺

Nedum Onuoha on Stefan Ortega Moreno 👇

"When he plays, City don’t play any differently.

"In Ortega, the way he moves the ball, the command of the box and the communications, whoever comes up against City is going to be facing the same City.

"He’s great with his feet, can move it left and right. Normally when you see a new player in goal, you want to get the ball on him but you see with Ortega, it’s the same as with Ederson."
