Thank you and goodnight

Right, that's all from me after what can only be described as a thoroughly enjoyable Sunday.

A thumping 4-0 win over Chelsea, a place in the FA Cup fourth round secured and a host of superb individual displays.

What more could you ask for?

Next up is Wednesday's Carabao Cup quarter-final trip to tackle Southampton.

Kick-off at St Mary's Stadium is at 8pm (UK) and we will be back with our Matchday Centre from 6pm.

Hopefully we will see you then - in the meantime enjoy the rest of your Sunday and thanks as always for your company!

'Alvarez played really, really well'

The boss on Julian Alvarez

I missed his happiness. He helped us a lot, with the World Cup. Today Julian feels and Riyad as well that the way we went there, how aggressive we were. He played really, really well. I said many times, we are now still in four competitions so we need all the squad. Everyone is humble to accept the minutes for the team, they will be welcome to be part of this team.

'Riyad never lost his love'

More from the boss on Riyad Mahrez:

He never lost his love. He loves to play football. The way he is training now and playing was exactly the same in Abu Dhabi. Riyad in important games is fantastic. The last game he didn’t start at Stamford Bridge and the  impact he had was incredible.

'Gianluca was something unique'

Pep on Gianluca Vialli:

Of course on behalf of Manchester City, it is difficult to find a more charismatic person.

He was something unique. Will not be forgotten. We have to remember with a big smile. For his family and friends, a huge hug.
