To be honest, I prefer to win 1-0 than 5-3 but I expected a very difficult game. I know how good they are. Off the ball, they are very aggressive, on the ball they have different weapons. Brobbey is an example. We found a way to win the game. These seven official games have all been different. We have a chance to learn from every game.
I’m always concerned, always trying to see what we can do better. Two of the goals were too easy. The second goal came from a quick free-kick, the third goal from another free-kick was too easy. We concede chances but we could have scored two or three more too.
It's a defeat but we are proud. We created many chances and probably deserved to score one or two more goals. At that level, against one of the best teams in Europe, half chances get punished.
Many of our squad will now jet off around the world to be with their national sides over the next two-and-a-half weeks.
That means an extended window without our men's side in action. In fact, our next assignment is a trip to Anfield on Sunday 11 October.
It's not our favourite hunting ground of course, but we'll go there full of confidence and with no fear.
If you’re winning at the end, you definitely enjoy [games like that]. It was a tough battle they made it difficult for us. We held on together as a team. They’ve made it tough against every team they’ve faced so far. We’re just happy with the three points.
It’s been good so far. We don’t want to get too complacent. We will come back from the international break and go again. It’s been amazing. Enzo has come in and everyone is adjusting and we’re building a nice culture.
