WHAT WE DO
The Academy vision is to maximise the potential of all our players within a world-class talent pathway that stretches beyond our first team.
A re-structured Manchester City Girl’s Academy will begin in July 2023 and will consist of multiple pathways to ensure all our players receive suitable development programmes. The FA’s removal of the RTC female player pathway in England (July 2023) has enabled the club to redevelop our provision for young female players.

THE OFFERING
The offering starts with our Emerging Talent Centre which hosts players between 8-14yrs of age. The next step is our Girls Academy system which hosts players within age groups of U12 to U16 which lead through to our Pro Academy for U19 players. We also provide a dual career education and football provision for 16-19yr old players in collaboration with a local education provider.
The ETC is overseen and delivered by City in the Community, For more information on City in the Community, please click here.

THE PROCESS
Our players participate in bespoke competition programmes that consist of boy’s leagues participation and mixed football provision and games which range from 3v3 to 11v11.

THE GOAL
The academy has a proven record of enabling players to reach their full potential and reach the heights of Manchester City Women Team and other WSL senior teams alongside assisting with opportunities to play in leagues around the world.
