Here at Manchester City, we recognise how important the connection between music and football is. Oasis, Doves, The Stone Roses, Blossoms, and The Chemical Brothers were all made in Manchester, and you could be next.

We are looking for 4 artists or bands to take part in our Battle of the Bands competition hosted at the Joie Stadium during the 23/24 Barclays Women’s Super League Season.

You could be in with a chance of winning 5 days worth of studio time at Blue Print Studios!

Competition Performances

At each fixture, you will have the opportunity to perform 3 of your own tracks to the stadium audience. The live stadium audience and supporters will score you out of 5 with the average being taken.

The two bands/artists with the highest average scores will go head-to-head in a final showdown at the Arsenal fixture – our final home game of the season – on Sunday 5^th May, where the winning artist will be crowned Battle of the Bands 23/24 Champion!

Closing Date

Entries close on Friday 22^nd September at 11pm

Our expert music panel will then go through the submissions and select the top 4 artists who will be selected to play live in the stadium. Our panel will be made up of some of Manchester music royalty.

Successful musicians will be contacted by 11pm on Monday 25^th September.
