We are looking for 4 artists/bands to take part in our Battle of the Bands competition hosted at the Academy Stadium during the 2022/23 Women’s Super League Season - with a chance to win a week’s worth of studio time!
Our weekend opener on Sunday 11th September at the Academy Stadium
Sunday 30th September at the Academy Stadium
The Manchester Womens' Derby on Sunday 11 December at the Etihad Stadium
Sunday 5th March at the Academy Stadium
At each fixture, you will have the opportunity to perform 3 of your own tracks to the stadium audience. The live matchday audience will score you out of 5 with the average being taken.
The two bands/artists with the highest average scores will go head-to-head in a final showdown at the Chelsea fixture on Sunday 26th March, where the winning artist will be crowned Battle of the Bands 22/23 Champion!
Our expert music panel will then go through the submissions and select the top 4 artists that will be selected to play live in the stadium. Our expert panel that will make the final shortlist will be made up of some of Manchester music royalty, including:
A mosaic five-piece formed in Stockport, Manchester
Drummer from The Smiths, DJ, Radio Presenter
Alt-Rock band formed in Manchester
