Weekly Term Programs

Coaches

Our sessions are led by experienced coaches trained in the City Football “Play” model, developed as part of the Manchester City Academy’s world-class coaching curriculum.

Each 75-minute session is designed to support players of all levels. Participants will: 

• Learn the fundamentals of attacking and defending. 

• Build confidence and creativity in 1v1 situations.

• Develop an understanding of formations and positions through mini-games like 3v3s and 4v4s, preparing for 11v11 in future years.

• Enjoy learning to make smart decisions in game scenarios while fostering teamwork and fun.

Places capped to ensure a coach-to-player ratio of no greater than 1:14.

At the end of each session, coaches will be available to provide feedback to parents and guardians on their child’s progress.

All players will also receive a certificate of completion at the conclusion of each term to celebrate their achievements.

Parents and players will receive an info pack prior to their start in the weekly term program, including planned session schedules, site specific information, and player expectations.

Official Training Kit

To fully immerse yourself in the Manchester City Football School experience, each participant is required to purchase and wear the official PUMA training kit during all sessions. The kit can be purchased during the registration process for $130 and includes:

• PUMA training jersey

• PUMA training shorts

• PUMA football socks

Existing Kit Owners:

If you already own a Manchester City Football School kit from a previous program (including school holiday clinics and weekly programs), you do not need to purchase a new one. This kit is valid for all future Manchester City Football School programs throughout 2026.
