Our aim: Using football to promote improved health and wellbeing through increased physical activity and a healthier diet.
Our health programmes promote increased physical activity and healthy life styles for over 20,000 young people per year from age 2 upwards. In addition to football CITC coaches provide intensive education around health and nutrition for children and parents through programmes like ‘City Cooks’ and ‘City Play’. So far, 100% of participants in our City Cooks programme report having a healthier diet as a result of the programme’.
