To address this, Wilson and other Young Leaders are reaching out to over 240 children and young people through I Speak Football, providing a safe space and an inclusive network where they will make friends and receive language and homework support that will help them both in and out of school.

“Becoming a Young Leader helped me structure my life and made me be sure about what I really wanted. It showed me how powerful football is in society and also how it can help others.” Wilson, 22

This project is delivered by Melbourne City in the Community.
