In Ghana, there are up to one million 6 – 14 year olds out of school.
Israel, 21, is teaming up with a group of young leaders to tackle the problem head on, using Ghana’s passion for football as their tool.
“I dropped out of school at 12 years old and found myself on the street. It was a really dark time but football was a catalyst to get me back into school. Now, we will support able-bodied and disabled young people to get back into education. I’m excited to be able to give others the same second chance I had.”
This project is delivered in partnership with Play Soccer Ghana.
