Global consumer electronics manufacturer, LG Electronics (LG), continue their partnership with Premier League football club Manchester City.
As the Club’s Official Digital Display Partner, LG will bring the ground’s action to life on over 360 screens within the Etihad Stadium and a further 320 screens at the Club’s 80-acre state-of-the-art training facility, the City Football Academy.
Ranging from 22-inch TVs to 98m² jumbo LED displays, LG’s leading technologies and spectacular picture definition will continue to bring everyone closer to the action - from the Etihad Stadium’s beverage kiosks to its hospitality boxes and premium suites.
And for this season, LG’s eye-catching 98m² LED displays, currently the largest in any European club stadium, have been clad as super-sized TVs, complete with an illuminated branded bezel, to reflect the brand’s technologies, which bring true-to-life picture quality action into the living rooms of fans across the globe.
These bespoke screen installations are in addition to 466m of mid-tier LED ribbon digital signage that delivers fan engagement, club and sponsor messages during each home fixture, creating a unique experience for fans on matchdays.
LG first signed as Manchester City’s Official Digital Display Partner in 2013, the two brands now move into their third season together.
LG will have access to an extensive rights package including the use of City players and the Club crest in advertising, packaging and points-of-sale across LG’s vast sales networks. LG branding will also feature in the Club’s advertising, including its matchday programme and perimeter LED screens at the Etihad Stadium.
