One of the most promising young talents to come out of Turkey, Enes Unal enjoyed a prolific scoring record for Bursaspor’s youth sides, scoring 25 goals in 24 games for Turkey U16s.
Since capped at U17, U21 and national team level, the 19-year-old striker is expected to challenge for first team recognition over the next couple of years.
Born in Osmangazi in Turkey, he made his senior debut on 1 August 2013 aged 16 when he came on as a sub in the Europa League tie against FC Vojvodina and three weeks later he made his league debut against Galatasaray, scoring just three minutes after coming on as a 71st minute substitute to become the youngest player to score in the Turkish Süper Lig.
He played 57 times for Bursaspor over the course of two years, scoring seven goals before joining City in July 2015.
Enes joined Belgian side Genk on loan on 31 July 2015, making 12 appearances and scoring one goal ahead of the Winter break.
He then went on to join NAC Breda on loan where he scored eight goals in 11 appearances as the Dutch outfit reached the play-off final where they were unfortunately beaten.
Enes is currently on a season-long loan at FC Twente, where he scored a pulsating hat-trick against Groningen on his first start for the club.
