Originally part of Arsenal’s Academy, Denzeil Boadu signed on as a scholar for City in July 2013.
An agile and skilful footballer, Boadu has impressed in a City shirt playing just behind the main striker, using his strength in possession and eye for a killer pass to set up chances for his teammates.
But the Londoner is no slouch in front of goal himself, and he scored seven league goals for the u18s in his first season in a City shirt.
An England youth international, Denzeil shone for the Young Lions at u17 level in the Nordic Tournament in 2013, grabbing a first international hat-trick and notching four goals in as many games for Kenny Swain’s men.
Following an injury hit 2015/16 campaign, Boadu will be hoping to regain his fitness and win back his place in the EDS team next season before setting higher targets for himself.
