Manchester-born agile shot stopper
Life-long City fan Daniel Grimshaw has been training with the club since he was five years old, and developing through the Academy age groups from the age of eight.
The Manchester-born goalkeeper has excellent distribution and handling, and has impressed on foreign shores in a City shirt, including tournaments in Singapore and Qatar.
His talent and drive convinced Academy staff he was worthy of a two-year scholarship with City during which he competed for the number one role in the U18s with Kjetil Haug.
After a successful 2015/16 in which Grimshaw helped City to the U18 Premier League title and FA Youth Cup final, he is now City's elected UEFA Youth League goalkeeper while deputising for Billy O'Brien in the Premier League 2.
