Pep Guardiola has heaped praise on a trio of youngsters after Manchester City's 1-0 defeat to Borussia Dortmund in Chicago.
Mario Gotze's first-half penalty was the difference as an inexperienced City side lost narrowly to the Bundesliga outfit.
But afterwards, Guardiola said he was impressed with the performances of Brahim Diaz, Douglas Luiz and Luke Bolton on a warm evening at Soldier Field.
"We will decide at the end of per-season [what to do with Brahim]," Pep said.
"He was with us last season, he played a few games. He's with us now and we will see after Liverpool and Bayern. It will be a good experience for them to realise they can compete and play good.
"That is the most important thing in that period and then as soon as people come back we will know what we need for the first games against Chelsea and Arsenal.
"Today was the first day Douglas Luiz played with us and his teammates. He will be with us all pre-season because we have just three or four first-teamers and then we will decide.
"He made a good performance, he fought a lot and was clever with the ball - especially in the second half when the pitch was quicker with the rain. II saw many, many good things.
"Luke Bolton is a winger but played right-back today for the first time. He won all the duels against Jadon Sancho and all these players. He did it really well."
