City suffer Boxing Day blues

SO CLOSE: Kasper Schmeichel dives to deny Kevin De Bruyne

SO CLOSE: Kasper Schmeichel dives to deny Kevin De Bruyne

Manchester City were hit with more festive frustration as we went down 2-1 at Leicester City.

The Blues had made the perfect start to the Boxing Day encounter with Bernardo Silva giving us a 14th minute lead.

However, Marc Albrighton equalised with an 18th minute header and though Pep Guardiola’s side carved out plenty of chances, it was the Foxes who struck the winner with Ricardo firing home a spectacular shot nine minutes from time.

To add to our frustrations, Fabian Delph was then sent off with a minute left.
