The super-sub scored the second goal in Monday’s 3-0 win at Hull, and the Nigerian feels his side are showing similarities with the one which earned ten successive victories at the start of the season.
Reflecting on the triumph at the KCOM Stadium, Iheanacho stated: “The whole team played really well and at the end, we got the three points – that’s all we need.
“Hull is a very strong team – they have great, quality players. Coming on is what I wanted.
“We are getting our confidence back and going into the winning mentality. We are stepping up now; we are strong at the back and in the front, scoring goals and getting the points we need.
“The next games, we’ll be strong and get the win.”
