Pep Guardiola insists Saturday's match with Chelsea is just the start of a testing month in the Premier League.
Chelsea are top of the Premier League with 31 points while Manchester City sit just one point behind ahead of the clash at the Etihad Stadium.
Following Chelsea, Guardiola's team face champions Leicester City as well as title rivals Arsenal and Liverpool before the new year - a prospect the Catalan coach is excited by.
He said: "Whether a draw is a good result depends on how well we play. This month we will play really good teams and we will see our level.
"I’m not thinking about what will happen if we win or don’t win those games, I’m thinking about our level and whether we will be able to fight until the end of the season."
