Back in 2010, Manchester City went to Turf Moor and beat this weekend’s opponents, Burnley, 6-1.
Goals from Emmanuel Adebayor (2), Craig Bellamy, Carlos Tevez, Patrick Vieira and Vincent Kompany sealed the win.
The result saw City seize the initiative in the race for Champions League qualification, moving us into fourth spot in the Premier League with just six matches of the season remaining.
Afterwards, then City boss Roberto Mancini said: "I am very happy because we played a good game.
"The weather was not good, and in the second half it was difficult to play football.
"If Emanuel Adebayor performs well then, with Carlos Tevez, we have good chances [to finish fourth].
"But we have six difficult games, and we must continue to improve in every game."
