Made up of ten voluntary members, City Matters meet with the Club on a regular basis to share ideas and discuss a range of topics important to our supporters.
This means the Club regularly hears from, and is influenced by, the people who matter most – its loyal supporters. This can be on matters from ticket allocations to how to make football more inclusive for all.

Introduced during the 2018/19 season, City Matters has been designed to create an environment where ideas and feedback can be shared between the Club and its supporters.
The network is made up of ten voluntary members elected by supporters, with each member representing a different matter. This means the Club regularly hears from supporters so that issues can be discussed and new initiatives can be introduced to benefit everyone who supports Manchester City.
City Matters has ten members representing different supporter groups. Examples of these representatives include the Official Supporters Club Representative, Under 25s Representative and LGBTQ+ Representative.
The ten representatives are members of four sub-groups, with some representatives in multiple groups. The sub-groups are Catering, Sustainability, Ticketing & Hospitality, and Diversity & Inclusion.
These meetings focus on a wide range of topics from ticket allocations to how to make football more inclusive for all.
The full network meets with Club representatives once every six weeks while the sub-groups meet on a more frequent basis.
In between meetings, representatives are also encouraged to contact the Club, which ensures that the Club remains in constant dialogue with fan representatives.
As part of the Club’s ongoing commitment to developing City Matters, two fan representatives have been invited to attend Manchester City Leadership Team meetings at City Football Academy as observers once every six weeks.

Following a pause during the pandemic, formal in person meetings will take place between the Club and City Matters representatives throughout the 2021/22 season.
